How to book a 1-1 session with me

Before we agree to schedule a Coaching session, please fill out the contact form on the relevant page, telling me a little about why you want Coaching and what you hope to achieve. This applies to single sessions and bundles. Coaching may not be suitable for everyone, so the first step is for us to chat over email. I will reply within 48 hours.

Coaching V Therapy

Whilst both modalities overlap at times, and are both considered "talking therapies", they differ in both their outlook and approach. In a nutshell, Therapy is about examining how your past has formed your personality, view of the world and mindset. People usually attend Therapy to overcome traumatic experiences, social anxiety, low self-esteem, anger etc. Coaching is not a replacement for Therapy.

Coaching is a very future focused and action-oriented modality. Whilst a Coach will be sensitive to any personal issues that affect the client, rather than looking at the past, or being overly focused on problems, Coaching is about the future. By identifying where you are now, in comparison to where you want to be in the future, Coaching can help you to identify the steps you need to take to achieve your goals.

What I do and don't do

As your Coach, I will encourage and motivate you. I will work with you to get really clear on your goals, and move towards achieving them.

If you are getting in your own way or procrastinating, I will gently challenge you.

I will not analyse or address psychological problems or past traumas – this is not my role.

I do not make any promises around how long a goal will take to achieve (that is mostly up to you), or about anything financial such as future earnings.

Who I do & don't work with

I work with people who are ready for change and willing to do what it takes. For Coaching to be effective a client needs to be ready to do some work, be open to new ways of looking at things and most of all take responsibility for their life.

If you are generally a negative person who is not open to new ideas, prefers to complain and blame, Coaching is probably not for you.

Refund Policy

Single sessions and courses / workbooks etc. are non-refundable

Bundles:

If you book a bundle of sessions but decide after the first one that Coaching is not for you, you can request a refund for the remaining sessions. Please note this must be requested in writing within 24 hours of the first session.

I reserve the right to cancel the Coaching relationship at any point if I feel that it is not effective, if the client is not respecting the relationship, or engaging in abusive behavior towards me. This can include being verbally aggressive in person or over e-mail, blaming me for not achieving specific results that I did not guarantee. Should that occur, a refund will be given for any remaining time.
